Definition

At the end of each month, pharmacies having kept in their inventory at least 1 reference of the studied market are considered as stockists. The number of stockist pharmacies is the sum of the number of these stockist pharmacies.

Calculation

Number of stockist pharmacies = sum of stockist pharmacies

Example

3 pharmacies sold product A during the month. At the end of the month, 2 pharmacies still have stock. In this example we have 3 selling pharmacies, but only 2 stockist pharmacies.

Tip

It may be interesting to compare the number of pharmacies selling with the number of stockist pharmacies.
