Definition
For a given product, the average SMKT sales represent the average volume sales per selling GSA parapharmacy.
Calculation
Average sales = average sales volume of GSA drugstores selling.
Example
For a product P, the sales volume for a given week is 10,000 UC and sold in 537 GSA parapharmacies.
The average sales of this product are 18.6 = 10000/537
For a hierarchical aggregate (such as a segment or a brand), it is the average of the average sales of each product constituting the aggregate which is taken into account.
Terminology
The average sales indicator (VM) can be translated into English by average sales or AS.
Or in this case AS SMKT.
Interpretation
The 'SMKT Average Sales' indicator is similar to the VMM / AMS indicator calculated on pharmacy sales. The only difference is that the average SMKT sales are calculated over GSA time periods (P01, P02, etc.), where Pharmacy VMM / AMS is calculated on the calendar calendar.
