Definition

For a product, stockist value distribution compares the sales value of stockist pharmacies to the sales value of the market.

Calculation

Weighted distribution Stock = sales value of stockist pharmacies / sales market value

Example

For product A, a 50% stockist distribution means that stockist pharmacies account for 50% of sales at market value.

Tip

On a product selection, a pharmacy is considered a stockist if it stocks at least 1 product from the selection.

Terminology

The weighted distribution Stock can be written as Weighted distribution Stock or WD Stock or DVS in French.

Limitations

This indicator can only be viewed on a monthly basis. It is therefore normal not to see it appear in YTD or MAT.
