Definition

For a given product, the adjusted SMKT selling value distribution compares the sales value of GSA drugstores selling to the sales value of total GSA drugstores.

Calculation

Adjusted SMKT selling value distribution = sales value of GSA drugstores selling / sales value of total GSA drugstores

Example

For Product A, an adjusted SMKT selling value distribution of 50% means that the selling GSA drugstores represent 50% of the total sales value of GSA drugstores.
For a hierarchical aggregate (such as a segment or a brand), the indicator is recalculated to take into account the duplications of stores selling several products of the selection in the same point of sale.

Terminology

The adjusted SMKT selling value distribution can be written DVV A. It is translated into English by Adjusted weighted distribution or WD A.
