Definition

Section access is a custom option that allows you to limit the view of your employees' data. The goal is to not leave confidential data visible or data that could be misused.

Example

If your company issues bonuses to your sales representatives in proportion to their performance, you can limit the view of your sales staff's geographical data to their territory and/or national total only. The objective in this use case is to make it impossible for one employee to calculate the bonus of another employee.
