Definition
The attrition of the product assortment represents the total number of inactive products (GTINs) (without sales over the period)
Example
For a market made up of 2,000 products, of which 200 products have no sales in your analysis period, then these 200 products are considered inactive and represent the attrition of the assortment available in points of sale.
Terminology
The assortment attrition indicator can be translated into English as "Churn assortment" or CPA.
Declinations
Product assortment attrition can also be studied in sales value or volume, to measure the impact of inactive products on sales.
