Definition

Product range width represents the total number of active (sold at least 1 time) products (GTINs)

Example

For a market consisting of 2,000 products, of which 1,600 products have at least one sale, then these 1,600 products are considered active and represent the breadth of assortment available in the outlets.

Terminology

The product assortment width indicator can be translated into English as "Products wide assortment" or PWA.

Declinations

Product assortment width can also be studied in value or volume sales, to measure the impact on sales.
