During wastewater treatment, three streams of water are monitored:

Raw water

The weir

Treated water

Raw water

Raw water corresponds to the wastewater entering the site.

The overflow is the volume of water that does not enter the plant and that is discharged into the natural environment without treatment (often in case of rain)

Treated water

The treated water corresponds to the outgoing wastewater after treatment.
