COVID-19 is the name given to the disease caused by the virus of the coronavirus family called SARS-CoV2-2.
The way in which the disease manifests itself is very heterogeneous and a significant proportion of people who are infected do not develop symptoms.
In the others, the nature and severity of symptoms is variable. In about 80% of cases, symptoms remain mild or moderate and disappear after 5 to 14 days. In some people, the respiratory discomfort associated with the accumulation of fluid in the bronchioles may lead to a lack of oxygenation of the blood and require hospitalization.
