Definition
The average volume per dispensation is the total volume of sales (in boxes) out of the total number of dispensations.
Example
For a given product, if a dispensation is delivered with 2 boxes and another dispensation with 3 boxes, then we have 5 boxes of the product for 2 dispensations.
Average volume per dispensation = 5 boxes / 2 dispensations = 2.50
